Lebron's definitely improved his shooting, so I look like an ass. Right now, it's kind of like Zeke's rookie year with the Pistons where he's got great stats but the team isn't great. If he can stay consistent, Big Z quits acting like a pussy when he doesn't have the ball, and Miles actually amount to something, the Cavs could be amazing in a few years. I'm curious to see how Wagner fits in when he recovers. Trade bait?

Sir F3lix and I went to the Pacers-Cavs game tonight. We both greeted Lebron with a high-five as he ran onto the court. I also got a pic with Mike Vanderjact who was sitting near us...he seemed pretty cool.
Lebron went off for 27 points. It was amazing seeing him play. On most of the plays, he just stood in the corner with his hands on his knees doing nothing. I think if he actually applied himself on every play, he would be averaging 30 a game easily. He can score whenever he wants to score. It was amazing. Everytime he dunked, he'd laugh his ass off. It was like watching a kid play basketball...which is exactly what it was. He's incredible...I no longer doubt. This is what Pacers coach Rick Carlise said about James after the game: ``How do you come up with a formula for a guy like this?'' Carlisle said of James. ``He has great maturity, great poise, charisma, charm and skill. He's having fun out there, but he's very serious about the game.'' I couldn't have said it better myself. He's going to be a God. -Ugly Bastard [ December 15, 2003, 11:35 PM: Message edited by: Ugly Bastard ] |

Our seats were amazing.
We got them from F3lix's Mother who is a teacher at Hamilton Southeastern High School. One of her students came into class offering to sell the tickets. She bought them, called her son informing him she bought him two tickets, and he called me informing me that she bought him two tickets. The rest is history... We were in the 15th row, you could've hit the court with a wadded up Klennex. It was beautiful... -Ugly Bastard |

I doubt we were on though... I guess 2 of the Sportscenter Top 10 were from this game. One incredible block O'Neal had on someone, and one of James' steals/dunks. I must watcheth now... -Ugly Bastard | |

Shaw, you see that blond sitting beside him? (Bottom right of the pic).
Odds are, he fucked her last night. She was incredibly hot...and he got to have sex with her. It was sorta humorous though, 'cause he was wearing these jeans that had patches of all the NBA Logo's on them, plus that dew rag...he was thuggin it up. I didn't even recognize him the first time I saw him. I was sitting a few rows behind him, and he came up the aisle to go take a piss or something. Anyway, a few people were giving him high-fives and talking to him and shit, and I was just like "who the hell was that guy?" Someone told me who it was, so I went down and got a pic with him during halftime. Either way, the moral of the story is: When you're a white field goal kicker, and you dress up like a gangster, it's easy to go unnoticed. -Ugly Bastard |

LeBron is a great player no question. I wish they would trade him to the Celtics. He is without a doubt the best player in the NBA as an individual. He leads that team, as a rookie. His PPG is outstanding as well. Even his boards and assists too.
And UB, put that picture of you and Dorsey along with the one of you and Vanderjadgt and you have a celebrity photo collection. |

I don't even think Lebron is in the top 3 NBA players in the league right now.
I think that... 1. Shaq 2. Tim Duncan 3. Kevin Garnett ...are easily the tip 3 in the league (not necessarily in that order). Shoot he's not even an "All Star". LEBRON DID'T EVEN MAKE THE ALL-STAR TEAM!!! --(that last comment was sarcasm, because him not making the all-star game was absurd and scandalous, he really is an outstanding player)-- [ February 26, 2004, 01:06 AM: Message edited by: Super Nintendo ] |

Shaq? Shaq is nowhere close. He is on a team that gives him the ball and he flips it into teh net a few times. Everyone is riding Shaq, he isn't even one of the top 5 in the NBA.
Duncan, possibly; however he is still no match for LeBron. He isn't even the biggest power in the Western Conference. 1.LeBron 2.Garnett 3.Duncan 4.Carmello 5.Jermaine O'Neill 6.Ron Artest 7.Paul Pierce 8.Shaq 9.Allen Iverson 10.Jason Kidd/Kenyon Martin |

I've got to disagree, VOL. LeBron is quite a player, but he is not the best. He still doesn't have an outside shot, his shooting is just par and most of his buckets are within 5 feet of the basket. While he is improving in all areas, he has yet to take over a game and pull the Cavs single-handedly to a win. The plays he doesn't play in, he just stands there and does not rebound. On fast breaks against him, he doesn't run back to play D. I love the Cavs and LeBron, but he still has a lot to learn and could, one day, be the best in the NBA.
