I know I'm like 6 years behind the times, bu just started Dexter since it's on netflix now. Enjoy it quite a lot.

Get out while you still can. Dexter is okay for 1-2 seasons, trails off in 3 a bit, and falls to complete shit after that. You're sailing toward disappointment.

Seasons 1 and 2 are god-tier television.

Season 3 isn't very good by comparison.

Season 4 is very good.

Seasons 5 and 6 are awful.

Season 7 is very good.

I haven't seen season 8, the finale.

Season 1 of Dexter is one of the best shows ever made.

Right now I've been putting off watching the final season for months because i know its going to be painfully fucking terrible. talking 10s vs 2s here

Just made the very tough decision of doing away with Satellite and go with just Hulu and Netflix. Not watching sports is absolutely killing me, but I've picked up a couple of good movies, and I'm getting ready to start Breaking Bad this weekend.

I'll be going down the line of your guys' shows after I finish off Jericho. The wife wants to watch Lost, and we started that tonight.

Yeah, I've been in that boat for 2 years and live sports is the oh thing I miss. Used to be able to get a lot on ESPN app, but they've gone stingy and have to pay for it now.

I gave up cable this summer and haven't missed it at all. I watch netflix and I have a digital antenna which gets me like 10 local channels. I get most of the live sports I want with that. Plus that extra $150 I save each month is real nice.

It already is in several markets as just an HBO Go package, unfortunately, not in my area.

I'm a couple episodes into season 3 of Breaking Bad. It's been pretty good, but really starting to lose me with the lack of real action. I don't need all the drama bullshit. Having said that, I'm still enjoying it and I'm told season 4 is the season where shit hits the fan.

I watched the It's Miller Time 30 for 30 again last night. What a piece of work. One of my favorites, just because I lived through those days as an outside Pacer fan.

Have your parents get HBO and then use their account to access HBO Go. That's what I do.

I don't know if there were new writers or what, but there was something entirely off about the final season.

Nevertheless, I still love the show and am very sad to see it go.

I have an idea for a tv show. It's about a high school biology teacher who gets sick with liver cancer. The prognosis is not good. In order to pay for his cancer treatments and not leave his family with nothing, he does something extreme. His doctorate-level knowledge of botany makes him a masterful green thumb. He uses his knowledge to grow extremely potent cannabis. With help from a former student, he gets his feet into the drug game. From there he gets involved with drug dealers and the cartel, and his life spirals out of control.

I call it "Growing Good".

I watched the first couple of seasons of Mad Men a few years back and didn't get back into it.

Seen all the episodes now, it's a goddam masterpiece. One problem is why does John Hamm's face look like he's always in the middle of trying to force a huge turd out?
