I enjoy chicken wings. I'll actually go one step further and say I LOVE chicken wings. I love hot wings, (buffalo style) barbecue wings, thai wings, every fucking chicken wing that can be made. In my life I've never had a better wing than from Wings, etc.
Please tell me who has the best wings. |

I assume of course this thread is about boneless wings because frankly only a miniature person could find any satisfaction at the portion of meat on a traditional buffalo wing.
Having said that, I have to agree with Orgazmo ... Bdubs has a pretty solid sauce that is hard to find anything comparable to. |

Boneless wings are stupid. I have a homemade recipe involving Frank's Red Hot and a secret ingredient it's butter that is pretty god damned delicious. There's also a local bar that has these spicy/sweet wings that are enormous to the point that they're about 3/4 the size of regular chicken, that nearly make me orgasm.
Not sure if you guys have them and I may catch some shit for this because I'm referencing a chain, but in a pinch, Wing Stop has never disappointed either. They have a garlic parmesan flavor and a lemon chicken flavor that are both incredible. Let's talk about dipping: Ranch or Blue Cheese? I'm a both guy myself. |

I prefer ranch but will use either.
I definitely feel like boneless wings, while good, aren't really like wings at all. They're more like chicken nuggets/tenders. I enjoy ripping meat off the bone like a god damn savage. For cheap, delicious wings delivered to your door, try Dominos. I think they're pretty god damn fantastic. Sometimes they put too much sauce on the wings, which isn't great. Also, before I get my asshole torn wide open, I'm only saying that Dominos wings are good value, not that they're the best. |

There's an AZ chain (maybe elsewhere too?) called Native New Yorker that has good wings. A local pizza joint in my town Vinny's is pretty solid. Neither are "the best" but both are. Considerably better than Bdubs. Bdubs does get a lot of my business as its the best sports bar type venue in town here.

The price seems about right for decent wings. Not for "shit-Dominos-is-the-only-place-that-is-open-and-happens-to-also-have-wings" wings.

They're better than KFC's hotwings (which really aren't that bad either, but are a terrible, terrible value-5 for $5).
Gaz, The Stacked Pickle has some pretty god damn good wings, don't you think? Certainly on the level of Bdubs. |

I'm going to buy an oil fryer and start making my own wings I think. Almost everywhere commercially they are breaded, it sucks.
Apparently Domino's are gluten-free though, although I find this claim a bit spurious. |

I would think that claiming something to be gluten-free would carry a legal liability. Although, I'm taking a nutrition class right now and recently found out that they can pretty much legally lie to you on food labels about the effects of foods on your health, due to a lack of FDA regulation. What happens if you eat shit with gluten?

Depends on how much I eat. If I ate a bunch of bread and beer my shit would be blacker than tar and it would not be a fun time on the toilet for the next couple of days. On top of that, because of the way the small intestine reacts to gluten when you have Celiac, your body doesn't absorb food properly so I usually have intermittent hypoglycemia for the next couple days and have to eat a bunch -- I've been trying to track a trend of crankiness with being glutened, but i'm pretty cranky most of the time anyways and sometimes you don't even know if you have had it. Generally, just a little bit doesn't make a noticeable difference, but I still keep to a pretty strict gluten-free diet.
Gut problems are still something we don't know tons about and there is increasing evidence that the gut is somewhat of a "second brain" in regard to controlling behavior and other neurological states, but I don't know a ton about this Not that I give a shit because it's Nubblies, but as an I'm pretty astounded at the sheer number of people who lack complete lack of social forethought of people who find now qualms with asking questions like "OMG WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU EAT/COME IN CONTACT WITH ______________, especially when it's something gastronomic in nature, like lactose intolerance, celiac, etc. I have always thought asking somebody their symptoms of a chronic condition is just a pretty fucking rude thing to do, especially when you can look them up anyways and save people of thinner skin (not me, i'm an improv master) loads of potential embarrassment. What person in their right mind wants to hear about explosive diarrhea and cramps, in public, at a restaurant, around a bunch of our friends? People who do this in public are generally dumb as shit. |

The best wings I've ever had were at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo. The Anchor Bar is supposedly the birthplace of the buffalo wing, and now it's their entire business. My father and I went out of our way driving from Boston to Chicago to make the stop, and it was a good decision.
Another memorable Buffalo meal was at Kuma's Corner in Chicago. They served a turkey-drumstick Medieval-Fair-But-With-Buffalo-Style. Fucking brilliant. Here's a nice football-game-watching snack. Throw some chicken cutlets in a big ziploc bag. Throw in a liberal amount of Frank's Red Hot, or even better some buffalo sauce*. Throw in some bread crumbs. Fill a glass pan with the sauced-and-breaded cutlets. Top with crumbled blue cheese. Bake. Serve with celery sticks. Or even better, on a sub roll. *Cayenne Pepper Sauce, such as Frank's, plus quite a bit of butter, and a little bit of vinegar. |

When I asked, I was asking purely from a scientific standpoint. Maybe I'm a little bit more curious because of the nutrition class but even still, given the candid nature of nubblies, I never considered it might be an embarrassing topic. For the record, I'm lactose intolerant and shit liters if I eat more than a couple of slices of cheese. Do you find yourself explaining it a lot or something? You got a little defensive.
