Agreed. But a case is a must. And the reading light is pretty solid. Might as well just lump the whole thing together and say you bought a $250 kindle. I really like the fact that the reading light uses the kindle battery instead of having to buy separate batteries and shit.

The Amazon case is the best deal out of all the ones i've browsed -- $20-$30 more expensive, but it's also solid leather, flips open (as opposed to sliding in and out of some kind of laptop-esque case) and having the battery-light function that heurisdick already mentioned. I'll probably purchase one in the next month or two. | ||

I bet I could find a working used Kindle for cheaper than the case. And the case I purchased from Amazon.co.uk was 51 GBP or 81 dollars. The cheapest new Kindle on Amazon.com is $139. Granted these are the extremes but 81/139 is an extreme case to product ratio. Although people in your tax bracket probably don't understand such things.

I have heard countless people say (and have said as much myself when buying a case for my girlfriend) "the case costs as much as the fucking kindle"
countless. |

I just bought this shower head filter device. I grew up in a house with softened well water. Then I went to college and my house has hard city water. The difference is astounding. Muncie city water is notoriously shitty. When I shower here, I don't feel clean, skin is dry and itchy, hair is flat, and I get acne on my back. I am very excited to try this fucker out.

So my little filter arrived today. I hooked the shit up eagerly awaiting to shower under it. When I showered this morning under my old shower head, I took special care in noticing how I felt after getting out. I felt like I just excited a swimming pool. A couple amazing things I have already noticed about the new system. First, at least double the water pressure. This is likely due to a lack of build up, but my old shower head was not very old, maybe two years. That's how shitty the water is here. The other thing I noticed is how fucking amazing I feel. It's incredible how much of an effect the quality of water you shower under has. If anyone is concerned about their quality of water, I highly recommend this mother fucker.
