That's the highest single day fund raising by anyone other than Hilary, who raised 6.2 in one day during the month of June.
The mainstream media wont be able to ignore him now. This should be a major story tomorrow, but just watch, they'll spin it to make him come off as poorly as possible. |

The story is all over the political websites, but most of them didn't catch the final numbers. I saw blurbs of "2M by noon" and "$3 in 20 hours" and none of them have updated to the 4.2M in 24 hours. That 4.2M is just too scary. The greatest part of this is that this is the 2nd time in 5 weeks that the media has to report on a massive fundraising drive by the Paul campaign. Where is this money coming from if nobody suppossedly is voting for him nor actually thinks he's going to win?
I found this video from 6 months ago which happened after the first debate. Paul's response is why I think he's the only GOP candidate who can beat Hillary next November. He can destroy anybody in a debate using facts and logic, all while not looking fake. Put him head to head with Hillary and it won't even be close. |

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

Ron Paul has now decreased from 8% down to 2% in several early states in less than a month. He's pulling back on his media blitzing tactics in the early states and many people are jumping off board. He's on target to get just half of his fundraising from last quarter. All other major GOP candidates' 3Q fundraising appears it will exceed Paul's.

Paul quadrupled in several early primary states within the last month and has now posted the biggest fundraising quarter of any GOP candidate and we still have a month to go in the quarter. Viva la Revolution.

Paul Wins Virginia Straw Poll
Ron Paul vanquished the competition in the annual Virginia GOP retreat straw poll by collecting 182 votes (38%). Despite having former senator George Allen and current Virginia Attorney General Bob McDonald speaking on his behalf, Fred Thompson managed only 112 votes (23%). While Mike Huckabee, who was represented by his wife, finished a distant third with 51 votes (11%). Several long-time Republican leaders including conservative icon Morton Blackwell complemented the Paul campaign on their strong organization and mobilization efforts, according to Ron Paul National Field Director Dennis Fusaro, who spoke on Dr. Paul's behalf at the event. Fusaro went on to say that, while this reflects the organizational strength of the Paul campaign around the country, it is essential that Virginia Ron Paul Republicans replicate this turn-out on a county-by-county basis at next year's mass meetings. Fusaro went on to congratulation the grassroots for, once again, coming out to support Dr. Paul in an unprecedented manner. Virginia GOP Retreat Straw Poll Results: Ron Paul 182 (38%) Fred Thompson 112 (23%) Mike Huckabee 51 (11%) Rudy Guiliani 45 (9%) Mitt Romney 43 (9%) John McCain 23 (5%) Duncan Hunter 19 (4%) Tom Tancredo 4 (<1%) |
