well if you have any ideas post them here.

i have a lunch idea.

i was thinking that doing a pulp fiction scene for the announcements. More specifically, the scene where samuel, walks in to the room with the guys and is asking them for the money they owe.

Someone would walk in pissed off about them not paying for their lunch, take a bite of the burger, and the rest...well i havent thought about.

Sports Ticker actually isn't a bad idea...as long as it was big enough that we could read it, but small enough that it wasn't the entire screen.

As for the Pulp Fiction scene, I haven't seen it in a really long time, so I really have no clue what you're talking about.

With the limited technology we have available, a sports ticker probably would look as attractive as 80 year old pussy.

If we did it using the graphics machine all would have is text floating across, and it would look like ass. That and the fact it is not designed to display such extremeties of information.

The other way to do it would be on a computer, after all the graphical work was done on the computer to make it look fancy, all we would have to do is just update the ticker everyday. Sounds easy but after that we woudl have to dump it from the pc to a dv tape, then play it on top of sports anchors while they were sitting in front of the blue screen. This would be rather time consuming since everytime we use the blue screen we have to tape it then, play record that on to the final news tape.

After i get done with my sports intro, ill try working on it, and see if its even a possiblity, but if i would have to guess right now, i would say its highly unlikely.

I agree with the Bastard. Keep the ideas coming, please. The announcments serioulsy need help. They need to have some packaging added to them, so there is some sort of appeal, since the humorous winging of it is gone. And lets give it all up to Dr.B for the great amount of freedom she has given us. Stupid woman.

For example, Wayne's World, Snatch, Jay and Silent Bob? I think a Wayne's World parody would be funny as hobblecock and shitstones, but thats my opinion.
