I thought about starting this thread as a review on the year 2003. How did the year go for you? What were your favorite or not so favorite things about it? And lastly what are your answers to these questions...
1.)What band impacted you most this year?
2.)What new artist or band from this year would you like to see more from in the future?
3.)How did Nubblies affect your year?
4.)How did the members of Nubblies affect your year.

I'd have to say this year was alright, a little rocky at times... actually a lot rocky at times. But overall it was okay. My favorite things about it were starting sophomore year, making new friends, parties, and lots of fun. My unfavorites were 3 friends passing away over the course of the summer.
1.)I'm going to have to go with Taking Back Sunday because I listened to them in various moods quite often.
2.)My favorite new band for this year would have to be Billy Talent. I know they aren't really new, but they are to me and to this area. I would definitely like to see a follow-up album from their self-titled album.
3.)Nubblies played a big role in my year. I would have say I spend majority of my free internet time on this website.
4.)Haha well this is an interesting question. I made some new friends from this website such as UB. I found myself laughing due to some members and helping me to cheer up. Thanks for the laughs, guys *cough*Pliedes*cough*

To step back and look at the year as a whole, I greatly enjoyed it. I think it was my best year ever. Yet, there are still many things that I wish wouldn't have happened, wished I would have done differently...you know, that kind of shit. Well, if I were to give 2003 a grade, I'd give it a B. It's the best one, but it could have been better.

1)RHCP, as usual. Seeing them in concert, and the release of their 'Best of' album to celebrate their 20th year in the business was a highlight.
2)...are there good new bands?
3)Same as the year before. It gave me something to do when I was bored, and allowed me to open my doors for many-a-party...plus the Nubblites b-ball team.
4)I don't know. The majority of the people on this website, I've been friends with forever, so they haven't really effected my life any differently. Uhh...yeah.

2003 was decent. I experienced some things that I thought were years away. But on the other hand, I have yet to experience some things that I probably should have. All in all, not a bad year.

1). Although bands tend not to impact me, I found Mars Volta to be a great aural distraction.

2). The only "artist" of sorts that I would like to see more from is Maddox. Many Nubblites know of him. The man is a genius. A guaranteed laugh every time I visit his site.

3). Nubblies was litte more than a way to pass the time.

4). The members of Nubblies had little, if any, effect upon me. However, I would have liked to attend the holiday shindig. It sounds like it was good times.
Maybe next year.

2003, well it was a year, it wasn't the worst, but it could have been better. I lost a lot of close people, and some other things went sour, but shit happens.
1)Alkaline Trio, I found myself listening to them alot, like last year.

2)Scar by the Lights, was probably my favorite new band.

3)It helped me when I needed a laugh, when I was bored, and when I needed an excuse to get on the internet.

4)The memebers were cool, none of them really affected me, but I did make some new friends, and had fun.

the killer in me is the killer in you.

1.)What band impacted you most this year?
Close: From Autumn to Ashes or Project 86

2.)What new artist or band from this year would you like to see more from in the future?
Story of the Year

3.)How did Nubblies affect your year?
Helped me get to know some people that I had already known but never got to 'know'. And it also introduced me to other people I know I probably never would have meant any other way.

4.)How did the members of Nubblies affect your year.
Made English a lot more enjoyable I tell you that.

I think it was a blatant cry of homoeroticism. Here come the hounds.

Anyway, 2003: No'tbad a'tall. Like many people have said before, it wasn't the best year due to tragedies beyond our own control, but many new friends and experiences have been made by me and overall, 2003 was a year for looking back on with much pride.

1) Favorite Band of 2003? Wow. Dunno. There are a fuckload of favorite bands of mine. Kings of Convenience might be up there as the best new CD I got this year, but lessee here....The Strokes rocked my world with their new album, Radiohead had a fantastic new album come out that I still listen to quite a bit, Guster had their best album yet in the summer, the Yeah Yeah Yeah's rocked my socks off, The New Pornagraphers really defined what "neat to the beat" really was, there was new stuff by Ben Folds, basically my faith in rock was built even higher with stuff by The White Stripes, Spoon, and such, and many many other bands that I just don't have the room to go on and on about. So there.

2) New Band I would like to see more of? The Postal Service. And I know I will. I mean, I know that Gibbard did come out with Transatlanticism this year, so that was good stuff, but his stuff with Dntel is masterful-ocity at it's best. And Dntel's solo outing was fantastic as well, with a single with Gibbard on that as well. Check it out check it out.

3) How did Nubblies affect my year? Well, it definitely allows me to keep in touch with people whom I normally don't find important enough to talk on the phone to. And it's a great way to keep a part of the society that's really formed a part of many personalities, including mine own.

4) Well hell, the members of Nubblies are all my bestest friends, so yeah, they had an impact. It's always great to have a place where people are gathered and act just like you do. Or sort of. In that vein. You know.

Anyway, God Bless 2003, and God Bless Nubblies.

Ahmen to that.

1)What band impacted you most this year?
Coldplay

2)What new artist or band would you like to see more from in the future?
I'm not sure

3)How did Nubblies affect your year?
To be honest I had a lot of hard times in 2003 (the break up and get together with my high school sweetheart) and coming to Nubblies to see the good times and laughs was a great.

4)How did the members of Nubblies affect your year?
As Niger said english was much more enjoyable. I have to say that Business Management was a much more enjoyable class. Lethal, Gaz', Pliedes, and myself had a gay old time in it.

There's life and then there is Cubs baseball, it's a chore to seperate the two.

There is already a Nubblies Junkyard... to view it, do a search for every post by Vol.

Vol, you fucking hypocrite, I don't know what you're trying to pull, but if you don't cut this sort of shit out, you can go back to reading Nubblies from prison.

Those sound a lot like the last words of a free man. VOL...

You haven't changed one bit, just because you learned to make one long shitty post instead of 50 small shitty posts doesn't make you a better poster. Not only is your capacity to reason comparable to the deformed infant offspring of a crack whore, your grammar still sucks more cock than... well, you at your family reunion.

I'd shut the motherloving fuck up if I were you, you're WAY out of your league.
