Every once in a while, usually while browsing old threads, I find myself wondering what old members are up to. Two of the main members I fall on are Ironic Mustache and Pleides.

Ironic Mustache. He was a poster for a long time, and had no real reason to stop posting. He didn't get abused and then leave nubblies in a huffy fit, like some members. Last I heard he was debating between keeping his state job and fucking off to do god knows what. I would really like to hear what he's up to, or if he's even alive. With as much time as he spent on the board, it's suspicious to me that he would leave all of a sudden with no explanation. It looks like he posted a lot until the end of February of last year, made 3 posts in December, and hasn't posted since.

Repugnant, Angry Pancake, Vaga, and Orgazmo (assuming you're privy to contact details we are not) -- Any chance of at least finding out what he's up to?

Pleides. Pleides had a badass return in 2008 and then stopped posting sometime last year when he moved from Seattle back to Indiana for unknown reasons. He has not made a single post since August, although it seems he last visited in October.

While we're at it, Dent, what's up with your brother, didn't he used to post her quite frequently, or was that mostly you on his HCW account?

All of these are valuable members and I would like them back, plz. I don't know any of them IRL, but some of you do, and if you could shoot out a quick email, text, or phonecall, Nubblies would appreciate it (i think).

EDIT:

While we're at it, what are some of the other older members up to? The Butcher, St Anky, Titan, Trout, etc....

St Anky is working as a manager of a Rock Bottom restaurant in downtown Indy last I heard. I know this only through facebook. Edit: That's not entirely true. I saw him at a beer fest last summer. Based on our 2 minute conversation, he's still a good dude.

Trout is working at a logistics company in Cincinnati. I hang out with him every few months.

I have no clue what Titan is doing. Niger Angelus has a kid and lives here in Warsaw (as far as I know). Not sure why he doesn't post here anymore.

Niger doesn't post here anymore because he feels that he's "outgrown" Nubblies, and that he doesn't have anything in common with people on here anymore. I just asked him that not too long ago actually, and yes he still lives in Warsaw.

I liked having Niger around, personally, but for him to say he's "outgrown" it is a self-justification if i've ever seen one.

Tonguegina is currently living in broadripple and working like 60 hrs a week between two jobs, the more part time being some managerial (I think) type at a movie theatre, the other being at Teavana in the mall. I see him a little more than I see Karl, but not much. This will hopefully change as he recently bought a new car.

The last time I saw Vol was like 4 years ago. I was in Winona Lake getting ice cream at some festival or something and he was doing the same but had to run out because there was a fire somewhere and he was a volunteer fighter.

Talked to Ironic Mustache on the phone about a year ago. Said he was getting serious about finishing school. I'm guessing he's dead or in a Mexican prison. I still chat with Carnivorous Flavor (funglool to the jj.net folk) he drinks so much that he probably forgot that he ever posted here.

Buckeye came to my house back in either January or February. He stopped by and had a couple beers with me then I saw him out at the local watering hole the very next night. He's still in school at Ohio State. I guess he was doing a deal where he would be in school for a semester then intern the next semester since nearly his sophomore year. That caused his school to go a lot slower than a normal pace.

Buckeye's reason for coming to Warsaw: Vol's wedding.

UB and I saw Silver & Cold (was that the name) out at the bar in Warsaw last week-end. I found it pretty comical.

Malibu, what are you doing these days? Why the hiatus? HOW the hiatus? Honestly, I don't even know how members can go such extended periods of times without reading Nubblies, at least if they're by a computer on a daily basis. How do you just forget about it? Nubblies won't let me quit it.

I'm just working and trying to make a living like everybody else. Got my Associate's in Criminal Justice and now I work security. I didn't have internet for a long time, and even when I finally got it, there wasn't much point in getting on here just so a bunch of guys could ask to see my tits.

Unless you're planning/pursuing a career in any form of federal law enforcement (or the even more difficult course of high-end personal security, a field which is all but obsolete for a woman), my advice (which i'm sure UB and Sittinon will agree with) is to get the hell out of that field. It leads nowhere except to a life of mediocrity.

I have thought about it. I'm kind of leaning towards going back to school with a double major in Public Relations and Communications. If not I'm trying to work towards Security Administrator.
