Does having more money than someone else make you better than them?
It’s a cold hard fact that the world we live in is controlled by money. Without money, you will die. Even bums need money. They beg for it on the street to eat and satisfy their compulsive drinking. The more money you have the higher standard of living you will have. More people will respect you; if they do not, it is because their jealous of you because they don’t have as much cash. The average IQ of rich people is much higher than those of poor people. Many poor people will say money does not make a person superior, but that is because they are poor and don’t know any better. There are scientific studies that the poorer you are the more you smell. One time I bumped into this guy that was wearing clothing that wasn’t bought at a designer store; needless to say, he smelled really bad. This all raises a very serious question: Should we send all poor people to an island for themselves, preferably somewhere of the coast of Mexico? Quote:

I believe that currency is a very small part of being "rich" in this world. I don't have much more than a few bucks to my name, yet consider myself to be very wealthy, because I love life.

I have the best friends I could ever ask for, a loving family, and a wonderful boyfriend. I, like Ugly Bastard, love my life and don't consider money to be the top priority. You may or may not believe anything the Bible has to say, but take this into consideration: What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:26) Just some food for thought.

This was obviously a serious statement, which was a subtle hint showing that I was really serious:
Quote:
Thankyou all so much for all of the clichés, they've really changed my life. Actually, I'm pretty sure I am richer than you. Only my dad doesn't pay for anything, because hes tight as hell. I'm glad your Dad's rich though, that way I my welfare taxes won't be wasted on you when you fail in life, and have to continue living off your parents, weinerlick. That was really mean when you said poor people rummage through trash and suck cocks. You have a very shallow and materialistic view of the world.

You're right, I do. I think money is the key to success. Luckily for me I won't have to live off of my dad, (who isn't rich, but doing alright for his family) not after I win the lottery, that is. Oh by the way dork, when you're looking for a job, don't come to me.
Oh and by the way, I didn't say poor people did any of those things. I said your poor cockchoking self does. Nice try though. Now if you'll exscuse me I think I'll go back to thrusting my penis in and out of your whore of a mother. Thanks. [ September 30, 2004, 05:19 PM: Message edited by: Dirty Harry ] |

How much can you know about how (un)important money is until you've experienced a drastic change in how much you have?
I worked at an apartment complex for a while. I was completely supporting myself and living paycheck to paycheck. When I gave up on actually ever doing anything better, I didn't feel so bad and started to have a lot more fun. Then I got an offer to work doing what I almost gave up on. Since then, I work my ass off and don't have much fun, but the promise of financial stability seems like a real possibility now. What is 'financial stability'? I would say financial stability is having enough money so that one can pay their pills, eat decently, and if they have a family, support the members, and still have money left over to put away and invest, or purchase additional assets.
Basically, financial stability is not living from paycheck to paycheck...At least that's how I see it. [ September 30, 2004, 07:20 PM: Message edited by: Dirty Harry ] |

Dork,
Yes the world is run by money. Its so obvious to see, just look at the oil companies. My god they are ass fucking everyone who drives a car. There ARE alternative fuels out there its just that the oil companies are tied into many things including politics that it won't happen anytime soon unless you live in california(Go Arnold.) I could give many points on how the world is run by money but i'm not going to waste your time since you already know this. Here is the key to sucess in life. Find a job that you love to do and never work a day in your life. Then you build off of the money you make to make yourself comfortable. Even if that means being a garbage collector. In addition to finding the job you love. Find the woman of your dreams and marry her. Make beautiful creations with her and help mold those creations with her and then watch them make you proud. What I do for a living right now is a Network Administrator. Now that sounds all high and mighty but I hate it. In fact I'd much rather be a janitor for a highschool or even better a corporate building so I can watch all those brown nose corporate junkies stress themselves out just coming into work. As I watch them I'll have a smile on my face from knowing that my job is kick ass because I'm stress free and love my job. It's all about what makes you happy dude. If money makes you happy then thats your thing. I recommend watching Family Man with Nicolas Cage. |

Find a job you love, find the woman of your dreams... These are your actual suggestions? I could just as easily say "Ok what you need to do is make a shit ton of money and be extremely fortuneate in investing it"
Also "Network Administrator" couldn't sound farther from "high and mighty" |

Frankly, I can't wait until everone runs out of oil. I think everything will turn into public transportation, and we'll never have to wait in traffic, or get in an accident again. We'll have superconductor rail cars or something similar that will travel hundreds of miles an hour. You'll be able to go to both disney land and disney world in the same day!!

2 more years in the Navy then I'm out. Then I'll do what I like.
That would be cool however there will be alternative fuel like hydrogen fuel cells. [ October 03, 2004, 11:19 PM: Message edited by: Sharton ] |

Mr. Show will clear all of this up.
Worthington's Law Tom V.O.: That's right, Bob. Listen to your friend, a person who makes more money than you is better than you, and therefore beyond criticism. This is called the Worthington Law [which reads "More Money = Better Than"] and it's used to gauge the value of human worth. Carl Espick, economist, and editor of Value Magazine. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Value Magazine Cast: * David - Carl Espick * John- mechanic David: Yeah, that's right. So what do you think? Wrong! Whatever you were gonna say doesn't matter because I make more money than you. That's if you're 80% of the public. So, I'm right. Each year, Value Magazine ranks the 500 best people in the history of the world. Did you know that, according to Worthington's Law, the opera singer who called himself, [makes air apostrophes] "The Great Caruso" was nowhere near as great as Sammy Hagar, The Red Rocker? So shut up, Caruso! Hey! Who's greater than Saint Francis of Assisi? How about, uh, Darryl Strawberry? See ya later, Saint Frannie, ya schmuck. Hey, guess who's better than Van Gogh. Let's see, after adjusting for inflation...[uses calculator] almost everybody! He made nothing! [shot of John fixing car] John: So that means that I'm better than Van Gogh and Galileo put together! [back to David] David: And I'm better than you, brainiac. In 1995, Steve Peaters had no money. He was a public school teacher, so his opinion wasn't worth very much. But then, in 1996, he won the lottery, and he was a great man. Greater than Einstein, who made very little. But then, guess what this genius-for-a-day does. He goes and gives his money to charity. Now he's about as dumb as Einstein. Way to go, Einstein. So, read Value Magazine, and get to know the 500 best people in the world. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ranking Monkey Link [shot of gold Ranking Monkey] Tom V.O.: Order now, and with a one year subscription, you'll get this Value Magazine Ranking Monkey absolutely free. Some day I'm going to make an intercontinental ballistic missle, or two or three, and blow up some of the people who are most better than me (most of the world). That way I'll be much more bestest than others.
