I just found out that there was an old thread that was similiar to this topic. But that thread says that you can only name modern bands, and specifically states that you cannot say Zeppelin, which is a sin to try to leave out...
So post on Nubblite Soldiers. [This message has been edited by pliedes (edited April 20, 2003).] |

Holy damn with the coldplay and guster! Wowee.
Anyway... both The Beatles and Led Zeppelin are not in this, they are above being ranked, they are gods, you can't compare them with the other bands. 1. Prodigy 2. Autechre 3. Tool 4. Incubus There is no 5, the number is 4. To fill out the top 8: Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, Silverchair |

Preface: My favorite band is the Beatles. But I love them so much more than any other band, that I am going to leave them off of this list, because these other bands aren't worthy of being on the same list as the Beatles. So basically this is a 2-6 list for me.
1-Red Hot Chili Peppers 2-Coldplay 3-Foo Fighters 4-Radiohead 5-Incubus -Ugly Bastard |

![]() Did you happen to hear what happened to Dan? Their bassist? Last night was wild man, Brad hit him in the chin with his guitar during the first song, and he had blood all over his shirt and bass the rest of the set. He had to get seven stiches today. It was bad-ass, and I got it on tape. Oh, and get the Josiah LP for five bucks, visit www.josiahrock.com [This message has been edited by Niger Angelus (edited April 20, 2003).] |

Well first of all, I'm sorry to say I'm not a legitimate Josiah fan, and I was just mimicking a friend of mine who is less of a fan than I.
I actually have never heard them. I'm not a regular in the hardcore scene, I just listen to some of the music... and then I fall asleep and dream that there is no scream/singer and all I can here is the amazing kickass guitar work and drums'n'bass... but then I wake up when the unnecessarilly incessant screaming starts... emphasis on incessant. On another note... no offense at all man, but if I wanted to see someone get whacked and bleed everywhere... I would just go stab someone in an alley... or go to an Andrew W. K. concert. (Or I would have just watched Seraphim at The Greatest Rock Show on Earth... man that was gross.) I don't generally go to shows to see blood... but whatever... good job getting it on film and all that, that will be a keeper. |
