Anybody want to make wagers on these two? I'm aware we have the "next celebrity to die" thread, but I thought we should make it interesting. However, I have no idea how to setup such a pool. I imagine the more gambling-minded of you do, though...

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

One organizer that cannot participate.
Everyone has a deadline (prly a week) to send the entry money to that one person. Maybe people can have more than one entry. The organizer accepts all funds and closes registration. The organizer discloses the amount of entries received and a prize pool is made (if not winner take all). The participants each PM a date & time to the organizer (or, if multiple entries, a date & time for each entry). The organizer creates a calendar with all entries for us to follow. When Swayze dies, the person with the closest date/time combination wins. If not winner take all, 2nd, 3rd, whatever else are decided in the same fashion. Should not be price is right rules. Thoughts? |

![]() The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter.
