By that logic, if one does not need to know something than he wouldn't know it. Surely even a man so dull as to not know how many pounds are in a ton can see the error in that line of reasoning.

It's one of those things like how to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius or the quadratic formula (opposite of b, plus or minus the square root of something over something else)...I knew it for a test, then didn't give a fuck. I'm sure it's up there in the mess of my mind somewhere, but it's just not something that I use...ever, so it's not on hand.
...but I did win. I beat you and 'gaz. I didn't need to know how many pounds were in a ton or what a gui was to do it, either. It just proves that you don't have to be a nerd to be intelligent. |
