I hate Hollywood, and that's a fact. And while I hate the institution and 99% of the people and products that are associated with it, there is some good shit that comes out of it and some people that don't make me completely sick. One of them is Tommy Lee Jones, and one such movie is No Country for Old Men--a fucking great movie. In this film we are introduced to one of the most bad ass characters in recent times, if not of all time. His name is Anton Chigurh, and he kills so many people.
![]() Who do you guys think is the most bad ass movie character of recent times (or all time)? |

How many times have you seen it? I get this way with movies sometimes, then I wait until the hype dies down and watch it again. I'd recommend a re-watch, alone.

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

It's ok Blonde. He'd rather watch his pussy vampire show than the story of a man who ruthlessly murders countless people. He strangled a man with his handcuff for christ's sake. I feel that was one of the most violent murder scenes I've seen. Not because of gore, just because the struggle was very vivd.
I'm suprised he didn't say sookie was the most bad ass character, but then again, if true blood were a movie, he might have. All this tombstone talk has given me an urge to watch the movie again. It's been some time since I've last seen it. |

Let me put this in terms that you may be able to understand, Fuhrer. The three gentlemen in my post are level 70 badasses with fully maxed out armor and multiple lich king victories.
The guy from No Country is, at best, a level 35 badass. As a movie, No Country is certainly no higher than a level 15. It has no special armor or special weapons. |

Anton Chigurh is a pure fucking badass. He took some pretty massive damage and still soldiered on like a pimp. While you may not have enjoyed the movie to the extent of Tombstone, to say that Chigurh is not a level 70 badass is a very fucking bold claim.
I'll add these submissions. Brad Pitt as Mickey O'Neil in Snatch. Vin Diesel as Riddick in Pitch Black / Chronicles of Riddick. (sort of lame movies, but he is an undeniable badass) Mel Gibson as Mad Max. |
