I'm sure many of you have run into this quote somewhere in your travels through the web. All you have to do is open any random female's icq information to see it glaring back at you. Am I the only one that just doesn't get it?

First of all...if no man is worth crying over...how the fuck does the mystery man that will never make you cry exist? It just makes no fucking sense. It's like saying, "No penis will ever enter my asshole...but the only one that does will be 18" long and made of platinum." No fucking sense.

Secondly, even if the quote wasn't a verbal circle that ends up biting itself right in the ass, it is still a pile of shit. Why? Because it says that there's only one guy worth crying over. You know how sometimes, when someone describes a scene to you...but it kinda sketchy on the details, you get this picture in your mind of what they're talking about...and, although it's reasonable to you, it's completely different from how things really are? Yeah. Anyway, sometimes those pictures that we get in the mind are completely irrational...and immediately discounted as false...because they simply couldn't exist. Sometimes they're reasonable...just wrong. Either way, we normally sort through the shit and are left with a completely reasonable (yet perhaps false) representation of the truth. That doesn't matter. This is my thought.

Imagine a toddler...we'll say 4 years old, who has his eyes gouged out at by a coarse hawk. At the age of 4, he has a reasonable grasp on the things around him...enough for a foundation of perception...but he's probably not the guy you'd go to for definitive details on the laws of nature. He's 4 fucking years old. He's seen things enough to have a general idea of what's out there (he knows what a cow looks like, he can picture carpet in his mind)...but those are only general things. Now, say that fucker grows up...with fake eyes and shit. He knows what basic things look like...from his childhood experiences...but even those things are corrupted (because he didn't study them...he didn't know he was going to be going blind and shit). Now, this is my question. Since he can't see anything at all, he has to be putting pictures in his mind of what he thinks is going on around him. He's never seen the inside of a school...but he has to be picturing the classroom which he is sitting in his mind as he listens to his teacher talk...shit like that. Wouldn't that fuck you up after awhile...having an idea of what's around you...but being nearly completely wrong about how everything is? Alright, fuck that, it doesn't make any sense.

New question, what the hell does a person born with no eyes picture in their mind? Is it complete darkness? When I close my eyes, I see things... What the fuck do they see? Also, do they constantly see it? Or only when they want to? When they're walking down the hallway...do they envision a hallway? Even though they have no fucking clue what a hallway looks like?

Damn, this is fucking with my mind. What about colors? They have no concept of what the fuck a color is. The only color that they know is black...because that's all that they've ever seen. So how the fuck could they picture anything in their mind...if black is the only color that they've ever seen. Could they? Fuck if I know.

By the way, i know this is technically my second thought of the day but fuck it...

Why do people put dates on their thoughts of the day when it clearly shows what time and date the message was posted? Kinda like beating a dead horse don't you think?
