That's all accounting is, rules, which, as you pointed out, are rules are rules. The FASB says this is GAAP so fuck you it's GAAP.

I know US tax fairly well, as convoluted as it is. Honestly, if you're paying a shit ton of taxes, you should hire a licensed professional to file. And I'm not talking about some hh Greg fag either. I mean a legit cpa from a public accounting firm. They can also tell you how to plan for your taxes so you'll pay less.

I use PWC but they give me absolutely 0 advice and basically tell me to fuck myself. :-(
I need advice not on filing but on how to structure my life.
