Nofx is just a bunch of alcoholics and burn outs that have maybe two brain cells left. I've given nofx a chance but they just suck. I used to be a big punkrocker my freshman year but i grew out of it because i found that there is much better music worth listening to than punkrock.
Nofx can make all the statements they want about terrorism but no one is going to take them seriously or care because they are punkrock. |

Rufus, I completely respect your opinion of Nofx. Please respect my opinion that you are an uninformed cuntsore. There is no such thing as a "used to be punk". Either you are or you aren't, and if you are, you are for life. I think you meant to say that you listened to punk when it was cool, when every other video on mtv was of the genre, and when everybody else was.

Chrystler you're an idiot. I used to be a hardcore punk ask people that know me. Then i grew up. You don't know shit you stupid son of a bitch. I know several people that used to be punks then they grew out of it when they got exposed to other styles of music. Almost all the punks at the highschool are freshman that want to be hardasses. A lot of them will probably grow out of it but some stick with it. So until you know who you are talking to shut the fuck up.
There are some decent punk bands out there but nofx sucks like no other. |

i think you can "grow out of it" but if you were really into it... it will always be apart of you
you may not always dress "punk" or leasin to the music as much or whatever but i think if you were a punk there will always be a punk part of you just my opinion |

Thrice, you really need to shut the fuck up because you sound like a complete dumbass.
Rufus, yeah same goes for you motherfucker. Who really gives a shit who is a punk and who isn't and if you are a punk forever or not. Who really gives a fuck about punk? WHAT THE FUCK IS A PUNK? WHO THE FUCK CARES WHAT A PUNK IS? Stop trying to be something. Stop labeling people. Especially stop labeling people because of what kind of cloths they wear or music they listen to. That type of shit is absolutely rediculous. And stop polluting this beautiful message board. I'M SICK AND FUCKING TIRED OF TALKING ABOUT PUNK MUSIC, YOU WANNA TALK ABOUT PUNK MUSIC, GO TO A FUCKING PUNK MUSIC MESSAGE BOARD! Thanks. First off Thrice I own you. You are my bitch. Do not talk back to me or I will bitch slap you like the whore that you are.
Second off, I am always right, never doubt me. Third off, I am better than you in every way fatomable. Therefore, never address me with "dude." Sir, or master are both acceptable ways to address me. Perhaps your highness would work out as well. Clearly my post went way over your head and I'm not going to try and explain it any further. Just realize that you're wrong, and agree with whatever I say. If you backtalk again to me I will be forced to put you in your place. There is a pecking order, I'm at the top of it, you're at the bottom, bitch. [This message has been edited by Dirty Harry (edited May 11, 2003).] |

Rufus, you obviously just don't get it. Punk is not simply a way to dress, a type of music, or even an attitude... punk is a lifestyle. You don't have to have 10" dayglo liberty spikes or wear what people like you consider to be the proper attire to be punk. It's something that you are, you can't help it. I'm not trying to get into some sort of pissing contest with you, but you've got to realize that the freshmen you spoke of, which you were one of, aren't "punk" or "hardcore"... they're rebellious teens going through a phase. It's unfortunate that this community is so appealing to poseurs, but it is. Shit, you said yourself that you were one of them. You can't really be punk and then outgrow it, just like you can't decide you've outgrown being whatever race you are... even if you renounce it, it's still how you're seen because it's what you are.
As for labeling people, maybe you're not comfortable with it, but you can rest assured that everyone you come in contact with is labeling you in one form or another. |

I can't believe that you think that 'punk' is a lifestyle, because it most certainly has nothing to do with how you live your life. It's a taste in music, pure and simple. Religion is a way of life, vegetarian is a way of life, but punk is not something that you believe in, because there is nothing to believe.
It's what Dirty Harry is trying to express here. Labeling is futile, since you're just going to piss people off. And yes, this board has been overwrought with an excessive amount of posts about music, and mostly punk in general. I can see Dirty Harry's frustration, because it's getting on my nerves as well. Jesus Chrystler, you're arguments are inane. I suggest you stop spouting that punk is like being African before someone really does rip you a new asshole. There's already a line dude. |

Combat, please don't play the Titan role by spitting threats you can't back up. When I want someone to dance for me, I'll give you call... but I sure as hell don't need you telling me was is and isn't when it comes to my lifestyle. How can you say that Vegetarianism is a way of life? It's what you eat?! that's a very small portion of life. I listen to music helluva lot more than I eat.
You've talked about sXe kids on other threads, would you consider that to be a lifestyle? I sure as hell would. A lifestyle that has many similarities to mine... many dissimilarites too. I don't understand why all of these people are talking shit about something they know nothing about. Sure, I listen to punk music, I play in a punk band, I even have the tattoos, but that's only a small part of why I consider myself part of this culture... it's much more than that. I don't blame you for not understanding that, most people don't, most never will. Shameless Plug: the Bloody Cum Bubbles will be playing with Kamilla and the Detained at the Intersection in Grand Rapids on June 6th. |

It's definetly not a culture you dumb shit. An example of culture is hinduism and the way they live. Punkrock is just a fraction of all the culture in america. A genre of music is not a culture.
And punkrock isn't some part of you that stays a part of you your whole life. People change and they can stop liking something when they grow and their mind develops. |

Hey Jesus, first off does my name look like 50? No it doesn't, so pull your fucking head out of your ass, and wipe the semen out of your eyes, too.
You think I was labeling you? Please. Honestly, what the fuck is going through your mind when you post? Clearly, I wasn't the one doing the labeling you, you labeled yourself by sounding like a complete and utter dumbass in each and everyone of your posts. You also seem to think that you pull some type of weight around here, which you clearly do not, you are some fucking pussy ass bitch who doesn't know his head from his asshole. I have to agree with Rufus and say that "Punk" is not a culture. Personally all I think it is, is a way for people to be different. What the fuck ever. You can think of it as this grand fucking culture, but personally I think it's bullshit, just like you. I think you are quite possibly the biggest cocksucking, pussy whining bitch, that I've ever heard in my life. You fucking sack of shit. Go fuck yourself, bitch. |
