It's possible this has been linked on here before and even if it hasn't, I'm sure many of you have read about it, but for those who haven't: Project MKULTRA - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As lame as fuck as it probably sounds, ever since seeing the movie Reign of Fire, which takes place in a future where dragons are born from deep beneath the earth and burn all organic matter they can find on the earth, and inhaling the ash from it to survive. There are nothing but small factions of humans having to grow food to exist and try to keep it secret from the dragons who are starving and looking for organic matter to burn, I have been extremely interested in humanity's often taken-for-granted reliance on plant matter to exist. Here are some interesting articles I have come across while researching it:

Dent posted the video referenced in this article and it is probably the most horrific thing I've ever seen. This wiki gives more insight into the cocksuckers responsible. Quite an interesting read. |

It's things like that that make me hope that my atheist views are wrong, and that there's special place in hell for people like that.

try downloading stumbleupon as an addon to your browser, then hit the button on wikipedia. i don't do it unless i'm really, really bored, as i'm already inundated as fuck with new information every day anyways, but it accomplishes basically what you just said.

False pregnancy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Not that fascinating, but the cliff notes are basically that there are instances where a woman longs to become pregnant so much that her body actually starts mimicking the symptoms of being pregnant despite the fact that she is without child. Crazy bitches. |
