There is very little known about this movie as its in pre-production, other than what is posted on IMDB, which pretty much states
"A team of mercenaries head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator. " However, should be pretty badass, as this is the cast thus far: -Mickey Rourke -Jason Statham -Sylvester Stallone -Jet Li -Dolph Lundgren -Randy Couture -Forest Whitaker -Arnold Schwarzenegger And they also just added Danny Trejo, who is rumored to be the "main villain. I'm immediately looking forward to this movie. |

Does Schwarzenegger have time to make movies?

![]() The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them. ![]() |

Promo Trailer: "The Expendables" | Adanx - Movie News, Trailers, Soundtracks
EDIT: wow that has just about every cliche i've ever seen in it. EDIT 2: Lol, FILMDRUNK mentioned it today and he's always making fun of Jason Statham. His entry was pretty hilarious I thought. Quote:

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

Willis's face is so shopped it's ridiculous. He looks like a charcoal painting.

in all seriousness, I honestly haven't rented a movie in like 2 years. Technically, i'm less elitist than you. "OOOH look at me i'm UB I can speak the language of the DVD rental company and afford to spend money on DVD's! Even if it's a dollar on a red box!!"
We're not all as lucky as you dude. You should be more aware of those less fortunate. |

With the advent of 50" high definition flat screen televisions, blue ray high definition movies, and surround sound, is there ever really a movie good enough to spend that much more money to see in the theater?

I can't remember a time in the past 4 years when I've been in a theatre and not been annoyed by someone nearby. Because of this, about 80% of evenings when I plan on tentatively seeing a movie at the theatre end with me saying "Fuck it" and just going home to watch whatever is waiting from Netflix.

Without sounding too gay, I love going to movies as a form of escapism. I feel completely immersed in another world when i'm in a movie, where I usually forget about everything else but the movie. This is very hard to do when I have an internet connection 5 feet away, if not on the same machine at home.
