The key to having a successful business is to obtain highly technical expertise, then start a company where you bring this technical expertise to the layman as a service.

It is literally the only sure-fire way to start a successful business. Unfortunately the first part is pretty fucking hard, and usually the people who possess the intellect/work ethic to get this expertise are autistic as fuck. Therefore, they suck pretty bad at being able to explain their technical knowledge to a layman.

I bought a Martian Notifier. It's pretty cool. I get texts, emails, and caller ID sent right to my watch.

How useable is it really? Do you actually find it to be useful for day-to-day or just cool?

Yes I really like it. It's useful for a guy who doesn't always have his phone on him. If you have a job where you have limited phone access, you could fire off a text and read the reply without pulling your phone out. Also useful for driving, meetings, dinners, classes, etc.

You can also use it to trigger your phone's voice commands. Also you can use the watch to remotely take a picture with the phone. It's really a neat fucking device.

I like the Martian because it keeps the classic watch look and minimizes the lcd screen, so it looks like a normal watch.

Pretty cool watch, I'm not a huge fan of how most of the other smart watches look. I prob won't be a smart watch purchaser anytime in the near future. I'm rough as hell on watches at work, how's the durability?

It has a rubber strap so that's pretty durable. The watch face seems to be holding up fine, but I wouldn't want to drop it. It's also not water proof.

picked up this baby from Guitar Center yesterday on a hunch. so far it's pretty dope and is going to add a lot more complex dimension to my beats, ninjas. The arpeggiator capabilities of this synthesizer (patterns manipulation, presets, random patterns)are pretty appealing just to get ideas from. Also I really need to work on my bass use anyways.

I bought one of those Dell 2-in-1 laptop/tablets today. The new computer really is like having a tablet and a laptop in one. The only difference I feel is that it doesn't have that sturdy, durable feeling tablets in a case have. It works like a tablet, but it still feels like a laptop. I wouldn't want to toss this on the couch. My only other beef is the miniature keyboard. I am really happy with the purchase and would recommend the 2-in-1 for anyone who wants the best of both worlds.

Nice. We got Marlin a new computer a few months back and considered them. Ended up going with a super portable laptop instead, but happy to hear it's working well for you.
