It really needs it's own thread. It's the funniest show on television, probably since Arrested Development. There is so much subtle humor that is just hanging out in the background or only on screen for one second that they don't make a focus of it, it really is genius. I really think this season is going to be great.

I never claimed the contrary, and that formula, well that sounds like recipe for solid gold comedy.

Chang is pretty god damned hilarious, too. I forgot about him because he wasn't really in last week's episode for some god damned reason. The episode where he thought he was some kind of P.I. was one of the funniest things I've seen.

The show is great, and all the characters have episodes where the shine the brightest. Abed, for example, was hilarious in the episode where he thought he was Jesus while making that documentary on religion.

I haven't seen the Halloween episode for this season yet, but, in general, I think Pierce is unnecessary and I like the time when he's off screen more than when he's on.

I totally understand, Gaz. Most men with homosexual tendencies aren't very fond of Mr. Hawthorne either. I don't think any less of you for it, and I still respect your opinion.

Without Pierce Hawthorne, the show wouldn't be nearly as good. I can think of many of the best episodes that are the best solely because of the role Pierce played in the story. Dungeons and dragons, the bequeathing episode, the drug play episode, the second paintball episode, those are just ones I thought of off the top of my head. Not to mention that he's played by Chevy fucking Chase, wtf is wrong with you people?
