I can't stand the Yankees I would have more respect for them if they could make a great team with the same amount that everybody else gets. My god they spend so much money on players and they still don't win all the time. You would think all the money that they spend that they would win every damn year. That is why I say that Baseball should have a salary cap and let everything be equal.

In related news: The Florida Marlins won the World Series tonight behind Josh Beckett's powerhouse pitching.

I'm not particularly thrilled that anyone other than the Cubs won, but it's nice to see a low-salary team win, other than the Yankees just buying a championship every year.

Josh Beckett's going to be a fucking God, if you don't think he is one already.

I do not think the Marlins will give them up, but imagine a Cubs team with Dontrelle Willis and Josh Beckett. Talk about fantasy baseball!
