I know you guys will beat me up about this, but give me some honest answers here.

Guy A bets both guy B and C that a team will lose 3 games in a regular season. The team has it's 3rd best player get hurt after bet is made. After team loses 2 games, B tells A that he isn't paying because of injury. C also has said no to paying because of injury. Is that fair??

Keep in mind, guy A offered a buy out after the injury to which both declined.

A bet is a bet, injuries are a part of sports. Just ask them if Vegas would give them a "no-bet" option.

I'm inclined to say it's a good bet. Especially after the buy back. Knee caps get busted after the third loss.

Yes, it was a 2 part bet. First part was Purdue would lose less then 3 games. They lost their 3rd yesterday. The 2nd part was Purdue would make it to the Final Four. I'm pretty safe on that bet as well. They were each 100 bucks, meaning if I win all 4, I would be owed 400 obviously. Both parties are saying after the injury, the bets were off, even though I told them I would take 50 dollars per bet per person. Meaning they would only owe me 100 each.

It is thoroughly against code; risk of injury is included in the price of the bet.

A is well within his rights to break B and C's legs, as well as take 10% juice per week of refusal of payment.

They are still refusing to pay. My only option may be to stop in Indy on my way to Florida to collect. One is Indian, so will it fall under a hate crime rule?!

Never enter any kind of agreement with an Indian (especially a Native American one). I'm sure the kind from India are no better. The moral of the story? Don't enter an agreement with anyone who isn't at least 1/2 white.
