So, computer lab gal was in here today, I sat a seat away from her, and I had about a window of 15 minutes (my window of opportunity) to talk to her, and I got so freaked out by the whole situation, that nothing happened.

Though much thanks to Schroeder for trying to coach my through it, though to no avail.

Maybe next time. (those words will probably echo in my head as I never see her again...)

Pliedes, seeing as though you're at college and such. Start with hello, (you could then discuss majors, interests, badminton, etc.) and if all goes well find out if she'd like to get a cup of coffee or something. If she has plans, just ask for her number and let it go from there.

It's a lot harder than it sounds though, I definately know how you're feeling. Especially when she's right there and you say nothing, totally understandable.

Right now, that's the plan.

I have the opening line (I notice you're always in here, and I couldn't help but introduce myself...).

I'm great at conversation (though badminton is a great idea, as I'm an undefeated two-time Lakeview champion for both doubles and singles).

Then make it a little more intimate (you want to take a break from homework and go grab some coffee?... we have a coffee house not more than 100feet from the lab).

Then go for the jugular (so would you be interested in going out this friday night?)... though I would need a good idea for a date, but I guess at that point we can just trade numbers and go from there.

I just need to get my balls out of the glovebox and speak up. It'll have to wait until after thanksgiving break though...
