And P!nk does that?
Oh, and fuck My Chemical Romance. "According to Wikipedia, Keane's lead singer, Tom Chaplin, reached his highest note during the recording, and held the note four seconds longer than Mercury had in the original." |

Pink and her backup band pulled it off. That's an entire performance.
Blonde argued one man pulling a Freddie, but when you really compare the two, he doesn't come close. Hitting high notes isn't something anybody claims when they discuss who is the greatest singer. Having a huge range, however, is. |

You heard it here, guys. Queen wasn't about Freddie Mercury at all. He was just some guy who could hit high notes.

Seriously Blonde how do you not realize that someone sounding exactly like Freddie or hitting the same notes as him means they suck. If you want artistic integrity, look no further....

Shut up F3lix. Nobody cares about your opinions on music.

Or maybe in a cruel twist of fate, you know nothing about music and EVERYONE BUT YOU actually does know something ... since nobody has ever seemed to agree with you.

Or maybe, nobody here gives a shit. I know you know more music theory than I do. Guess what NOBODY FUCKING CARES. If you weren't such a douche bag all the time maybe we'd care about your opinions, but the benefits of hearing your musical opinions are far outweighed by your shitty attitude.

He's starting to impress me now. He is actually more easily understandable with the fast lyrics at the beginning than Freddie was and is adding musicality to his performance in both voice and piano. I hope to see more of this.
On another note, it greatly bothers me that the piano was closed. Closed piano muffles the sound so much and to put it way back in the room it was placed in is baffling to me. Why let so much sound get lost where nobody can hear it? I'm guessing the entire music track (and maybe even his vocals) were pre-recorded as it would be insanely hard to line it up exactly with him starting on piano and bringing in the other part when needed. Lastly, why does Ellen have a Yamaha when they should have a Steinway? |
