Not sure about any of that. I'm guessing it was not on purpose and he was just excited.

One note is that he is a defensive player. He had just picked up an incomplete lateral (which is a fumble) and returned it a decent distance for the touchdown. I suppose that's all it takes to remove all common sense from a man.

Yes, the above explanation is correct. It should also be noted that that was Mr. Boley's first ever touchdown, so he was pretty excited. The dude he hit was an intern with the NY Giants, so I don't think anyone gives a fuck about what happened other than the fact that it's hilarious as shit.
