Default poker or ufc

i'm deciding if i should go play poker with the guys from work or stay home and watch the ufc.
i went out last night and had to deal with drama.... i'm thinking that if i stay home and get the ufc tonight it will be easier. but.... do i want to let what happened last night dictate what i do tonight

I am chaos. It is my destiny to destroy.

I would UFC it tonight. Serra vs. GSP will be a good one. I actually got to meet Matt Serra at UFC 82 in Ohio. He was a really cool guy. Toke every single picture anyone wanted. Hated him before that.

how did that fight turn out?

the ufc was pretty decent. one of the fights was just ridiculous because all the one guy did was run backward the whole fucking time. one judge scored it 30-24.... thats how bad it was

st pierre just tore serra up. he definitely deserved to win.

franklin is back on his game and looked great too

It was interesting because I cared who won, but the fight was so-so.

Calzaghe down in the first, then won 9 of the next 11 fairly uneventful rounds, he won by Split Decision, but the black broad who scored it for Hopkins was a joke.

Split Decision???? Wow. That's ridiculous.

Boxing used to be the number 1 event in my life. When I was little, we ordered every boxing ppv til Tyson McNeely. After that we kinda stopped ordering. Boxing needs a couple heavyweights to step up. They also need a Mickey Ward Auturo Gatti type match. UFC is blowing it off the map.

I would have loved to see it about 3 or 4 years ago when Jones was younger. I thin Calzaghe would pound RJJ. Obviously personal opinion there.

GSP was all over Serra, basically made him look like a rookie. The fight that was called because of the sissy boy who was scared of his own shadow was pretty ridiculous though it was funny to see someone so mocked and humiliated. That guy was just a joke.

Pretty much spot on, RJJ is shot and not what he was.

I dunno about that, Serra isn't on GSP's level and the first fight was basically the 1980 us hockey team beating the soviets, but it was stopped because GSP was pounding Serra, Serra didn't seem scared just inadequte.

Beebs re-read what she said, I believe she was referring to the Starnes/Quarry fight where Starnes ran around like a little bitch. I think it's absolutely hilarious that Dana White cut Starnes from the UFC yesterday, bastard deserves it.

Yeah thanks for clearing that up BDH, I can't really keep track of all the names, but I know the big name guys but yes now that I think about it, it was Nate Quarry and that Starnes guy, he definitely didn't know how to put a show on for the fans and deserved the cut. That's what people are paying for is a fight and they better get one, not some little prissy boy running away from his opponent.

Lol that's funny. I never really saw myself as a girl that would get into that kind of stuff, but then again, I'd never really given it a chance either. Now that I have, I've gotten to where I actually enjoy watching it. I mean who doesn't love to watch two people beat the hell out of each other right? Giving sports a chance could actually do a lot of girls some good. Especially the girls that are really prissy and preppy... getting into sports may just take that high-maintenance edge off and make them a little more down to earth.

Do you ever watch Elite EX?? I have enjoyed quite a few of their fights. KJ Noonz is pretty solid. So is the Super heavy that can't talk english. I'm glad they are going to network TV.

Starnes must have just ducked, ran and covered the whole fight. All I have heard about is how bad that fight was. On a site posting the results, someone said right after the fight that White was going to fire him.

Shaw is was unbelieveable, he ran away like he was terrified to get hit...literally

Quarry at one point mockingly ran like he was trying to get away, it was that bad

It was hilarious when Quarry put one hand on his face and had his other arm throwing punches. Starnes acted like he'd never fought before in his whole life or else he was just scared shitless I'm not sure which it was, but he completely made an ass out of himself in front of millions of people.
