I'm still in the process of tracking down, liquidating and allocating funds into one area (it's almost humorous how much money is owed to me or that I "have" that is not in USD currently), so until that is done I am still "that guy on the couch (guest bedroom, whatever).

I've been spending a lot of time on CL though and think it would be a good idea to have a thread where we can talk about the various services and products that CL offers.

Currently on the table is the hypothesis that motorcycles are more expensive in AZ than other areas. Here is a comparison:

(a lot of these are 4wheelers, I really wish there was a separate category for them because they're annoying as hell when you're looking for a bike, but after a while you get used to the brand names and engine sizes and can avoid accordingly)

south bend motorcycles/scooters - all classifieds - craigslist

phoenix motorcycles/scooters - all classifieds - craigslist

It looks kind the same to me.

Motorcycles are more expensive in AZ because they're a viable mode of year-round transportation and are therefore in higher demand. I'm sure you're aware of this correlation. I'm drunk.

I furnished my entire apartment through gumtree (UK craigslist apartment).

Might just get a car for now and wait until winter to buy one back home. Get a good deal pre-christmas maybe, store it till spring, bada bing, bada boom.
