Default Holy Shit I can't believe This actor also played That character!

Do you ever watch an old film or TV show and have that moment where you are shocked/surprised/amazed/amused to see an actor you very closely associate with one character had previously portrayed something completely different but you had never noticed them before? When you watch an old film and you see that an actor has since become much more known for something more recent. For example, I was shocked to see that the kicker from "The Waterboy" was D'Angelo Barksdale from The Wire:

I was equally pleased to see that Hans Gruber from Die Hard had been reincarnated into Severus Snape from Harry Potter! My mind was blown:

Finally: I was very interested to see that 3 of the actors in Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire (2005) reapeared together in In Bruges (2008) - what are the odds of that?

You have Lord Voldemort reapearing as the head boss:

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (3/5) Movie CLIP - The Dark Lord Rises (2005) HD - YouTube

You have a hot Witch returning as a hot Belgian Babe:

And finally you have a crazy one-eyed wizzard coming back as a down-on-his-luck hitman:

The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them.

Pretty much every crime show has a character or two from OZ.

Oz was a cool show.

The Aryan leader has been in tons of shit, most recently he's done some insurance commericals...but that's kind of small time for him.

The black dude in the wheelchair played the black dude in Lost, Walt's father.

I see this shit ALL THE FUCKING TIME.

...but I don't have anything for you guys now. Sorry. On a related note, my roommate and I could not remember who played Matt Damon's character in The Departed. I thought it might be Matt Damon, but really didn't believe it till I looked it up on Wikipedia.

Stringer Bell and Beadie appearing on the office ...

Cutty from season 3 appearing as a bar tender in Horrible Bosses and as a pussy ex husband on some fucking ABC show

Bubs played one of Michelle Tanner's friends in Full House.

Gruber to Snape was amazing to me too. Dave Chapelle in Men in Tights was less weird but still a surprise. Most recently (and apparently not that surprising to other people I've talked to) is Billy Crystal in the Princess Bride.

Creeping around as I please nonchalantly like any other Supreme Emperor might.

That's a good one but he was already famous at that point. So it was kind of similar to Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder.

I think it's weird that Harrison Ford is Han Solo. The character is just so much bigger than he is. And he's Harrison Fucking Ford.

This, for sure. I'm pretty sure he was billed as an attention-getter in the trailer.

Not as much as I thought I guess, but there are some clips of him in there.

On that note, does anyone think "Stardust" (based on graphic novel/book by Neil Gaiman) is the "Princess Bride" of this (younger) generation?

Tom Cruise wasn't even mentioned in the trailers (at least initially)

They showed like every line Billy Crystal had in the whole movie. It was a really small part.

I love that movie.
