Was it you who thought I was actually surprised about not having as much legal knowledge as AP? I'm a little insulted by the fact that you tend to first generally assume that I'm a colossal moron before considering my possible intent at "subtle" sarcasm or a self-deprecating joke.

To give him the benefit of every doubt, he was probably talking about the specific beef of the building tensions and wargames near the straight of Hormuz
AFP: Massive anti-mine naval exercise underway in Gulf Not sure how big of a deal this actually is; sounds like it's outlandishly close to a full on war. |

Can't find the article, but I was reading a few weeks ago about a major facility where Iran was housing parts of its nuclear program... they're currently fortifying it, basically burying it in a mountain, and soon it will be unreachable via airstrike. This puts a clock on Israel's desire to attack, they want to hit it before it disappears as a target. US is in a rough position because they're trying to get Israel to chill, but it is a very real clock.

I'd bet that throughout history most bombs were deployed on the ground.

Even a small anvil is 100lbs+. They would not allow that for flat rate shipping, which is capped at 70lbs.
Acme is clearly filling a high-risk, high complexity shipping need, one that has a gap in the market. Wile E Coyote is probably paying through the nose for that service. |

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

Agreed.
This article gives you a good glimpse into how crazy Muslims can be about anything insulting Muhammad. Why Are Muslims So Serious About Their Prophet? - Mohamed Ghilan TL;DR - The author states that Islam is a religion of love and that they all love Muhammad very deeply. He compares the love for Muhammad to the love (and "obsession") that some people have for Michael Jackson, except much, much, much, much, much deeper. Then he states that he's not making a comparison. Then he continues to make parallels between the two. |
