Citibank is a terrible company.

I had a credit card through Wells Fargo once, and when I was trying to pay my bill online, I accidentally made the payment to a Citibank Visa card that I did not even have. Not only did Citibank accept the payment, but they never gave me my money back.

Yeah. I was trying to do it online. It was my first credit card, and I got it through the bank. Online banking was relatively new back then. I made the payment through the Wells Fargo website to a citibank visa card, because I assumed that was my credit card (it was a visa). The website accepted my payment so I thought everything was fine. It wasn't. Trying to get help from citibank was impossible because I didn't have an account with them. Wells Fargo wasn't much help. It was a bitch to get them to even open up a case for it. Finally I said fuck it b/c it was only $150.

I avoided spoilers for the Real Madrid - Bayern Munich game all day, then fucking saw the score on the scroll on ESPN when I turned on the TV.

This drives me nuts. I watch every red sox game the day after it plays, since I live in the UK. I have to cover parts of the screen so I don't see the FINAL SCORE when I click to watch the game. This is idiotic. Same with when I watch at home on appletv and try to fast forward through the commercials. The scroll-bar at the bottom tells you "single" or "home run" about a minute before it happens. I basically can't FF the commercials.

The saying, "if you want something done right, do it yourself" exists because other people fucking suck at their jobs.

I've worked 36 of the past 48 hours to ensure something was done right on a case, and the team I passed it onto just fucked it up incredibly.

Godfuckingdammit.

Now back to work to chew the fuck out of the team that dropped the ball.

The worst example was ESPN3 during the world cup, they would put fucking marks with pictures in the timeline on the bottom, so you would more or less know who scored and when just by starting the damn thing.

Because the e-mail address i have been using regularly for the last 9 years was not professional sounding, so I made one that was just my name ... I don't check it every day because it rarely ever gets any e-mails at all ... let alone an actual e-mail from a recruiter.
