Gaz, I think you're doing a great job, first off. High five!
But when I log in to the site, it says i'm not logged in, and then usually it says i have an incorrect password, but then in the top right it says "Welcome, Mr. Blonde.", so I guess i'm in. That's really my only issue, is there anyway so it says i'm still logged in at all times when i click that button? |

I kindly agree. It won't keep me logged in, it didn't do this initially. For example I can't even find the life projects forums unless I click on "Private" first, it logs me in and then I can see life projects.
Also maybe there is a setting I missed, but is there any way I can make it so it doesn't mark every thread read every time I come to the site? I dont always have time to read every new post but miss a lot because it gets marked read. |

Having all of these complaints in one area is a great help...so thanks for making the thread.
About the login shit...that's really tough to debug. Is anyone else having the issue? A brief description of what's going on can help. For now, I disabled page caching, which may help a bit. It sounds like it may just be showing a wrong version of the page or something, so this may fix it. If not, it could be cookie related, but, since it's working fine for me (and I assume most others), that seems unlikely. If so, it's probably a browser issue more than a Nubblies issue. Clearing cookies would fix this. As for the unread posts complaint, I changed a setting on how it deems a thread "read". Before, it would auto flag all threads as read once your session times out (which happens after 15 minutes of inactivity). Now it keeps a list of shit in the database and, if there are posts unread in a thread, the thread will remain "unread". This changes the way the "new posts" link displays...but it seems to be for the better. Let me know if this helps out at all or if ya'll would rather have it switched back. |

OMG WUT ARE COOKIZ I THOHT U ATE DEMZ
god i hate the customers i deal with on a daily basis. i'll try it, it actually seems to keep me logged in now, i just have to click on pretty much any of the nav bars to show it to me, so it might be a cache/cookies deal. i'll experiment. |

I updated some shit...but I really don't think it's going to have any effect.
Since it's only happening to a few people...and the majority are fine, it about has to be a client issue on your side. What browser & major version are those with troubles using? Are cookies for sure enabled? Is the security setting not absurdly high? Have you cleared cookies recently? Try all that shit. |

Just added a tweak that shows spiders specifically in that list (instead of looping them into "Guests").
And, about the logged in/out thing...maybe have fixed that. Let me know if you're all still having troubles. If so, try logging out on one of the deeper pages and then back in on the main page. |

I'm having the problem of showing me logged in but when I click on something it logs me out.
Also I might as well throw the marked forums read out the window. All it does is clear it and then when I come back the same shit blinks whether it has been read or not. |

Never happens to me, whens the last time you've cleared your cookies? I clear my shit all the time because I always end up looking at something that disgusts me or would shame my family name.
for firefox: Tools > Clear Private Data... > check all > clear private data now |
