I stumbled upon this awesome personal finance tool online at Mint.com. It's pretty awesome. I was going to use Quicken, but a friend of mine suggested this and i've been using it for a few weeks, it really is helping me put all my shit together.

The best thing about it is that it automatically catalogs your expenses once you enter in all your information. It's really helped me gain control of my budget.

Another pretty awesome part of it is that it tells you how much you are spending compared to the US average...really puts stuff in perspective, ya know? You can even look them up in YOUR CITY!!! CRAZY AWESOME!

Anyways, I don't see a lot about finance management on this site, so I thought I would throw it out there. Enjoy!

This site could help out people in a big way. The irony is, the type of people who really need something like this (those who are irresponsible and lack discipline) are probably also the type unlikely to give something like this a try... at least until they hit the wall anyway.

If you have..I think you would agree it's pretty powerful what you can do with it..considering its all web based.
