My bet only is offered if Shaw takes the cash from this year and doesn't return it until registration for next year opens (which can't be before July.) Nobody is allowed to loan him the money either. Fuck, there are too many stipulations to this. Too many leaks. No bet is offered. The line is even money, though.

It's kind of dumb to offer that bet to Shaw anyway. I mean, if he bets $100, you're basically paying for him to play...or he's paying you $100 for the right not to play. It's just dumb.

He's 50/50 at best in my book.

f3lix let me know the other day that he has another engagement on this day and will have to make a choice on whether he's actually going to come. Sure, he said he probably would...but the fact that it went from "I'll be there" to "I'll think about blowing off this other thing to be there" is a bit concerning.
