It's funny, because I think MissClit is trying to troll me. What a silly little cunt.
And scooping shit into your hat DOES impress the girls. It's truly a selfless act, like giving your own life for someone elses. |

Of course not you silly twat, I didn't TELL her what I did, that was part of the whole selflessness of the act. I cared about her so much that I refused to leave a floater in her toilet. I never did get pussy from that girl, but scooping shit into my hat is my #1 pick up line now, and let me tell you, the chicks go wild for it. I've never seen panties drop so fast.

At the beginning of this thread one asked what bible is close to the original translation. Well the original text of the new testament is written in Koine Greek. the best translation for english reading peoples (and by best I mean word for word) is the new American Standard version. The accuracy of the bible is straightforward. Don't get me wrong, greek culture highly influenced ideas in the bible, however, it did not take away from the message of it.
parts of the old testament are being proven everyday. But you must realize that some stories were handed down before written word and definitely before the printing press. Even new testament messages were not immmediately written because apostles thought that the second coming of Christ was at hand so things were not written down for over ten years. I have more information for people who want to respond. I do know some things but not all things. I have many biblical resources available to myself(school, work, family) and am willing to share those resources for anyone interested. |

Spare the new age blathering. Divine, as in something that would be outside the realm of possibility without a divine being breaking the rules of the universe, if there is such a case, then all natural rules of the universe are null and void, so no, I do not think you can "probably show me"</font>[/quote] imho shouldn't ask for an answer if you don't care to find out what it really is

i kind of want to argue with this ..so if you want to, here it is.
dictionary.com di·vine- 1. Having the nature of or being a deity. 2. Of, relating to, emanating from, or being the expression of a deity: sought divine guidance through meditation. 3. Being in the service or worship of a deity; sacred. 4. Heavenly; perfect. I like definition 4 best. Of course heavenly could be relative...but I think everyone could come to a consensus that perfect means something without flaws. Would you agree? Do you want to hear a divine statement from the Bible now? [ September 20, 2005, 08:58 PM: Message edited by: AcTivE ] |

That is stupid. Whatever the statement may be, saying that it is divine is you giving your personal opinion. No one is interested in that. Quote:
What is personal opinion? I would argue that most people's realities are based on what is going on around them. Their opinion is formed from that. Would you not agree? Does that opinion hold any value? If it doesn't, then why are you reading this? Probably, because you want to argue about something, and create drama, because it's exciting, and something to do. Or maybe I'm wrong. And yes, truths are self evident. I was able to read your last quote--and understand the truth that it holds. It is self evident. It does not mean the statement will hold up against all other statements--but it means that it has a truth that is understanable to you, to me, and to someone else. If I were to say "killing is wrong" that is not a self evident truth. But, if I was to say, pleasure is better than pain, then it would be a self evident truth. Cause even if somebody liked getting stabbed in the leg for fun, even though it caused pain, they were doing it for pleasure. Is there not something self evident in a statement being made? If you say no, then how can you say anything is "real", or why are you even taking an interest...in..anything.
