Seriously, when did weed get so goddamn strong? I didn't smoke for a few years and weed goes through the fucking roof. Something to do with internet growing forums and when weed became more or less legal, or at least easy to get away with, in parts of California.

I've heard that due to growing/breeding techniques over the years, the average plant is many many times more potent than the average plant from 30-40 years ago. I'm sure there is data stating otherwise, though.

What method did you use? Blunt, bong, or vaporizer?

I mean I've been smoking again for like a year, and am only comparing to like 4 years ago. It might just be my guy is getting stuff way above his natural station.

I've pretty much exclusively used a vaporizer over the past couple years. If you havent tried it, I highly recommend it. It leaves you with a clean taste that is more reminiscent of an herb or spice, rather than smoke. You can actually taste the difference between plants. No smoke, just vapor. Plus, it makes a little bit go a long way.

I think I've mentioned this before but UoP doesn't drug test at all, preliminary or otherwise. The president of the company is huge for legalization legislation/personal privacy laws. So, ironically, I can smoke out all the time working here and I know several people who do it just to get through the day. However, I know that if I just smoke out whenever I get home to get rid of stress it's going to make me complacent and not want to search for other jobs so I can get out of this inferno of a fucking workplace. It's seriously taking a toll on me.

Yes. I also didn't apply at that school's new opening because of it. If a school had it in their contract that they could randomly test, I would turn them down.

Fact of the matter seems to be that if you got offered your dream job on the condition of regular piss tests your principles on the matter would evaporate pretty quickly.

It's a shit market, and I desperately want a new job. We live in America, where most employers drug test. Welcome to it.

A college professor of mine once stated that same "what if" scenario when it came to also needing to teach just one elementary school music class in order to get the "dream job." I'll tell you the same thing I told her. That's not my dream job.

Target: I assume mostly to keep the meth users out.

Providian Financial: Not surprising considering about 90% of the employees were between 18-22 and were smoking regularly and doing a bunch of other stuff on weekends.

AMC Mortgage: Lots of people making lots of money and doing lots of coke.

Department of Justice (Narcotics Division): Self explanatory.

None of these place did random testing, just the initial.
