so wolverine was actually born with his claws? how fucking bitchin' is that... one time my mom wrote a phone number on the back of one of my Venom comics... i was so fucking pissed... i think i stopped after that.

Ahhh, titan, you must read the "Origin" mini series. It is about how Wolverine came to be and all about his unknown past. It is definately one of the best series in a long time. A must read for any comic fan.

'Origin' started out as a helluva comic book, but the thing was, Jenkins couldn't really do anything too big, or it'd take everything away from his mysterious past.

The thing is, this miniseries tried to play both sides. It revealed his past, and how he became what he became, but all in all, it played to the people who still wanted his past shrouded in mystery. We still don't know about his exploits in Japan, and how he ended up with Weapon X. There is still a huge gap in the history of Wolverine.

At least there were great pencils by Andy Kubert.

From what I hear the workprint version floating around is missing all sorts of effects and even some music. I guess you can even see some strings holding people up in some scenes. Just wait for a good version.

you should watch now and save your money. No amount of CGI is going to fix this mess. Most of the special effects are already done.

I watched it this morning at a buddies house. The special affects are horrible, as mentioned above there are multiple scenes with strings holding people up. Digital effects aren't even close to finished and it takes away from the movie.

With that being said it's a pretty sweet movie.

Just saw it. I thought it was alright, but I'm not familiar with the story. Ryan Reynolds should have been in it more. Be sure to catch the shit after the credits. There are different versions for different prints.
