He said that because of so many of the victim's families making a fucking scene over their lost family members. They made a mockery of the entire 9/11 attacks for their own personal gain. It was disgusting to watch them parade around from talk show to talk show to get their much longer than 15 minutes of fame.

Well because Anarchy is an impossible state of being, the instant all societies rules are abandoned, those with the capability to carry out violence and violate basic human rights become in power, and instate their rules.

But, if you look at the scope of human achievement, all of it, the greater the value of individual rights, the greater the value of achievement, in all aspects.

I think Anarchy is a ridiculous, impossible concept. Socialism, on the other hand, if done correctly seems great to me. When I look at the stability of certain European countries, although not definitively Socialist, but mostly, I am really disheartened by the stubbornness of our country's society towards improvement (i.e. National Healthcare, War on Drugs, hesitance toward war, openness to moral issues [gay marriage, abortion, what have you] etc).

As for the future of humanity, it would be understandable to not care about it if you're not going to have kids. If you are, then it's even more important to see to it that changes start happening now, so that there is at least a slight hope of your 'legacy' being carried out to its fullest.
