![]() The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them. ![]() |

My mistake, I couldn't actually tolerate the song long enough to see a man deep in thought, had I not been so short sighted in my viewing, I could have been more understanding. Blonde, I apologize.

That's an ok song, but if you want some really good material, look to their older releases. I don't mean to sound like the old man yelling from his front porch but......
Good --> Jimmy Eat World (1994) Great--> Static Prevails (1996) Awesome --> Clarity (1999) Decent--> Bleed American (2001) Meh--> Futures (2004) Bland--> Chase This Light (2007) Oh course music is very subjective, so grain of salt there. ....aaaaaaaand here ya go, just uncheck the shitty albums. |

^ Awesome!
Stab, I always love your recommendations. Come to think of it, the first time I ever heard about the circle jerks was from a post you made on nubblies. Thanks for that. |

The song that Blonde posted is what made me fall in love with his music. I bought his "Greeting from Michigan" vinyl off of him (it had just come out) and went back up north with a giant smile on my face. A good memory. - - - - - And just so I'm actually contributing to the thread- a video by Denison Witmer. One of the most unassuming, down to earth musicians I've ever met. Video imbed didn't work, so here's the video link... laundromatinee - denison witmer - - - Edit: I just found out that his new shit is being released in S.Korea...so Blonde this link is for you. Generally I don't like chick singers, but Emily Haines is one of the leads of Broken Social Scene and the lead singer of Metric, and both are damn good.
EDIT: Also she's fucking hot and has killer legs. |
