I just watched the 911 video in it's entirety. There are many great points brought up throughout and, right now, I almost whole-heartedly believe most of what it presents. I've had doubts about what has been reported on it since it happened, not only because of my "question authority" state of mind but also due to a friend of mine in the air force stationed in Japan who would routinely send me updates from his post behind a radar that I would hear about a week later on the news in a way slanted towards us doing well in the war. Unfortunately, correspondes with said friend ended abruptly quite some time ago after he cc'ed me a rather detailed email outlining why the few "heroes" of the war are nothing but fuck-ups set up to look good in order for media to have feel-good stories to send home. I hope he's alright, but apparently his family and everyone else I know who he used to correspond with have not heard from him since the last time I heard from him. Let me add that I am highly, highly intoxicated right now, after viewing sober, I may change my entire viewpoint. good day.
Edit: I just watched the video of the children being beaten too. Although I find this heinous, I think that it's understandable. These troops are stationed in a place where they are basically targets. Beating those who are probably the children of those who are trying to kill them on a daily basis is a minor victory for a short time. They are living in a constant state of fear, anytime and anyway they can vent some of this fear through aggression is welcomed. I think those kids are damned lucky that they're still alive. Edit: I just watched the Lazy Muncie video too. Although I find this video to be both well put together and hilarious, I find it hard to palate that Fort Wayne is only mentioned as a side note. Since we both "moved our asses to Fort Wayne" years ago, I called my good friend Jesus Chrystler in hopes that he would pen a bit of a response to it... I got no answer. |

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

It does look very interesting. I'll definitely be going to see it because of the ambiguity.
Edit:I've watched that about 5 times now. Our library has the 1977 novel...i'm going to rent it as we speak. |

If this isn't the epitome of a rough ending for a police chase.

Will Wright just combines all of the video games he's ever made and that's the best videogame ever? Oh well, I guess if people are dumb enough to buy a game that lets them live a human life like the sims (even though they could just live a human life every day) then they'll probably buy anything.
I'll never hear the end of this super-glorified tamagotchi |
