The opening ceremony was wonderful, and really highlights what an absolutely disgusting disgrace the London opening ceremony was.

Just...just fuck you London.

Also, we spent only a fraction on the SUMMER Olympics as the Russians have spent on the winter Olympics, and we didn't fuck anything up on the scale that they have. Basically Sochi is proof that Russia is 95% corrupt.

Our women's curling team shit the bed this morning vs. Sweden. Came out like a ball of fire, but giving up 3 in a round just isn't going to cut it at this level. Sweden was prime for the picking early. USA should have been up 6-0 after 3 rounds.

Speaking of, I'd like to take this time to bitch about the lack of a way to watch every single event live streaming on tv. Is this 1986, for fuck sake? Why do I have to stream shit through their shitty little website like some kind of caveman?

Each event should have its own channel that comes live when there is something going on. Having this would allow a person to watch anything they please live without any worry of spoiler.

USA and Canada women put on a show this morning! Great hockey game and excites me for me for when they should be play for gold next week. USA men in action tomorrow morning!!!!!!

How awesome was the US vs. Russia game?? Win or lose for the US, that was great hockey. Physical and very skilled at both ends. The medal round for this tourney is going to be amazing!

	The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them.
