I was going to come into work today, really buckle down, work really hard, try to make a lot of money and hopefully get a promotion, but then on the train this guy looked at me funny so instead I'm posting snark on nubblies.

I appreciate your kick in the ass. Taking it next week is the right move. The section I was scheduled to take is financial accounting, which covers the most material and, to me, seems like it will be one of the most difficult sections. I'm also registered to take the auditing section. I decided to cancel financial next week and take auditing instead. The price to register for auditing is half that of financial, and the material is also half in scope. The level of detail is a bit greater, but I just took an auditing course in the spring that was basically CPA prep. I feel like I have a fighting chance to pass this section next week. The other section I had less chance of passing imo. So this shit is going down.

The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them. |

I hate watching people run, especially guys who run like pathetic little girls. To me, it seems like running is one of the most natural things a body can do, so it should be kind of natural to not run like a fucking dumbass. Nevertheless, I see countless dipshits running like dipshits down the road. Drives me crazy. Jesus Christ almighty it's not that hard.

Do you run with your thumbs up like Jordan, or your hands straight like Bolt? Can you please post a video on how you run properly. Edit: Can you change your name to Prefontaine? | |

Not really. I know when I run, I look like an overweight dog with 3 legs, so I try not to judge people that are doing things to get fit. That's like a fat guy calling another fat guy fat. Doesn't make much sense.

RotD: My mom has been desperately dating every guy who shows the slightest bit of interest in her for the past 2 years or so (prior to that she hadn't dated anyone in something like 10 years). She without fail decides to introduce them to the family on date number 2, on a holiday. So far I've met a new boyfriend on more than one Christmas, one Thanksgiving, several birthdays (mine twice), and at least one Easter. The last boyfriend didn't work out because he confessed to be being a "rehabilitated" ex-kid toucher, who had served time for it. One might think she would take that as a lesson and get to know guys a little better before introducing them to the family. Wrong.
Apparently she got in touch with someone she used to go to high school with who lives in Ohio or something. He came down here and visited once, she decided she didn't like him. He persisted, proposed, and she said yes. So he's moving his family down here and I'm supposed to meet my soon-to-be father-in-law on Thanksgiving. |

She said yes because she has an identical twin sister that she used to be attached to at the hip. She's been in a healthy relationship for the past year and a half, and I think my mom is jealous and thinks this is her last chance. Blonde is prolly right. Also, she's dumb. I have no idea what he's going to do for work. I honestly don't even know a single thing more about him than what's in the above post. For all I know, it could be AP. There's actually a part of me that hopes it is.
