Hurdle nixed Sept 11/12 (not that we would have had it that late anyway) and would rather it not be Aug 7.

8/7 so long as it's not going on the same time as Hurdle's other draft would work. 8/14 probably too.

I prefer it later than sooner. I've much disliked us drafting so early and then watching our players get hurt in preseason. Also hard to draft the last 6 or so rounds before depth charts are decided.

Who said anything about watching preseason games? I just want the draft to be later than sooner to have a better idea about drafting late. Plus, half of contract holdouts get solved between the time we draft and the start of the season. I'd like for their to be more certainty when I draft.

I take no affirmations to mean that there won't be a gathering. Based on that, 8/21 works like a motherfucker. The draft is set to be 8/21 at 3pm ET

After our success with the World Cup shit not having to deposit funds beforehand, what do we think about employing the same setup this time? We just keep our cash until it's time to pay. I can see arguments made for both sides and am open to comments or criticisms.

An alternative to this are having it the weekend before.
