Okay, Blonde posted a clip from it in August...and I don't care. I just saw, and am recommending the whole damn thing to those who either did or didn't see Blonde's post. But thanks for making the extra effort.
-------- all douchebaggery aside, from what I can tell (or care), this hasn't been mentioned yet, and it's got Kevin Spacey in it. "Unable to come to terms with recent personal drama, a pot-smoking psychoanalyst to Tinseltown stars believes he can no longer help his patients get better." |

Watch Moon if you like good movies. Finally got to see this, and watched it 3 times consecutively. It is a good movie.

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

Happens to the best of us.
![]() Daybreakers is a movie I watched a couple weeks ago and it's not that great. The concept is fantastic, it's basically in a world where almost everyone is a vampire, and instead of hiding in the shadows and attacking people in alleys, they live out normal lives and their food comes from farming the remaining humans for blood. However, they're running out of humans (they're dying or something) and there is a huge blood shortage (think if there was suddenly lno food for anyone). Except that instead of just dying of starvation, you turn into one of these things: ![]() And some humans approach a vampire hematologist (Ethan Hawke) with a "cure" so they can go back to being human again. They took a great concept and fucked it up terribly, it was a horrible movie IMO. If you aren't planning on seeing it (a course of action I would suggest), spoilers below. First off, if all the humans are dying, I don't know why they just don't breed more humans. They clearly have the technology for in-vitro fertilization, I don't know why they wouldn't do that, but whatever. There are at least 2 major deux ex machinas in the plot. One of which is that the "cure" is actually just exposing a vampire to just enough sunlight, then quenching the fire, then they turn human. That's it. The way to turn a vampire back into a fucking human is by almost killing it with its biggest weakness. The only analogy I can think of right now would be like giving somebody just enough extra cancer to cure them. Pretty dumb imo. The other one is that when a vampire bites someone who has been "cured", that blood causes them to get all sick and turn back into human as well, thus creating a chain reaction like so: 1. Human turns into vampire via ratbite or something 2. Vampire goes into sunlight, then gets out of sunlight 3. Vampire turns back into human 4. Other starving vampires see human and suck his blood 5. Starving vampire turns back into human 6. Repeat steps 4 & 5 7. ???? 8. SALVATION OF THE HUMAN RACE! |

I recently watched the Korean movie Thirst.
![]() It's by the same director who did Old Boy (which I know some of you have seen, and every single one of you should, seriously fucking awesome movie). As a matter of fact, let's take a short break to watch one of the best scenes in that movie: Anyways, same director, and it's about a priest who becomes a vampire. It's a pretty decent vampire movie, I know there's been a lot lately, but It really doesn't focus on it a whole lot. He gets "taken in" by a family from his youth and gets involved with this other guys wife, and it basically get superfucked from there. It's an even mix between American Psycho and a porno. There is a lot of sex in the film, and it stars this hot little bitch: ![]() And she gets naked often, so at the very least you have that going for you. Fun Fact: I watched it with a Korean girl i'm kinda/sorta hanging out with, and I don't know if it's because I was watching a Korean girl get fucked in a Korean movie, in Korea, with a Korean girl, but it led to some awesome mid-movie sex. If you have the opportunity you should watch it with a hot Asian chick. |

That clip from Kickass was hilarious. I hardly heard the rest of the video following the point where he shot her, because I was laughing so hard.

For the record I thought Kick Ass was a pretty lame movie.

Has anyone seen "I'm Still Here"? I haven't yet and am very curious. The director, Casey Affleck, just admitted that it was not a documentary, it was all fake, including this:

I've been following it loosely, didn't know it was out yet actually. That's a fuckload of dedication for a fake movie.

I make bad decisions.

Yeah, I was completely underwhelmed by that movie. There were a couple parts that made me chuckle, but overall, it sucked.
